Baby Wren

Proud grampa holding his first granddaughter.  Born today, June 1st weighing in at 7 pounds 2 oz.  Eighteen inches long.  She's a beauty.

Her name is Wren.

Wren's are active little birds, vibrant, alert and efficient.  The wren is rarely seen resting on her laurels.  Wrens are quite sociable.  She reminds us to keep a happy heart and be kind to others.

This light, bright cheer carries over into the delightful song of the wren.  Wrens win high status as a symbol of musical poetry, art and song.
The wren may be tiny, but she packs a powerful symbolic message, encouraging us to go beyond the realm of the "known" and to access the adventure that waits for us!

Wrens are friendly, sharing determined, quick-witted, active, agile, creative, light-hearted, and free-spirited.

Being born on June 1st her flower is honeysuckle and her birthstone is a pearl.

What a lovely name for this lovely little girl.
