Jake didn't want to take a nap today, but I wanted him to. He tried everything and so did I. First he had me read him all his books. Then he proceeded to tell me everything about everything. Then he resorted to tears. I moved him from his bed to the couch and told him he could just take a rest, but I wanted to sing him a song first. He said "ok, grama polly". I then sang every song I knew. As his eyes started getting heavy and his breathing got more even, he said, "grama, this is sure a long song."
